Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife, film producer Aaliya Siddiqui, aka Zainab aka Anjana Kishor Pandey, recently announced that she and the actor will divorce due to a property dispute. She also claimed that now that the case has gone to court, Nawazuddin is ‘disowning’ their second child. Aaliya opened up about her recent interaction with the actor, who came to visit her at his Andheri bungalow, in a new interview.
Nawazuddin, who was staying in a hotel at the time, came to see Aaliya and was seen speaking with her while standing near the bungalow gate. Aaliya shared a video of their heated exchange on social media. The Gangs of Wasseypur actor said in the video that he came after stopping his shoot because he is always there for the kids.
“Nawazuddin came a couple of days ago, he wanted to take Shora for visa work,” Aaliya said of the video’s details. However, Shora and I are Dubai residents, and we don’t need to meet any of these requirements.” She claimed she did not send Shora with Nawazuddin after he requested her.
“He has frequently mentally harassed me. I’m considering divorcing him and fighting for custody of my children. I’m not looking for money; I’m just stunned by his claims of disowning our second child. How can he claim that our second child was born while we were living together? “I have agreements that state we are husband and wife, and I will present all of this in court,” she added.
The problems between the two reportedly started when Aaliyah came back to Mumbai from Dubai with her children. Police said she had an argument with Nawazuddin’s mother, Mehrunisa Siddiqui, who later filed an FIR against her. Later, Aaliya said that she was being harassed at home and was denied access to bathroom and food.
According to an ETimes report, she has been given a room and access to the kitchen, but it appears that things have not improved. According to Nawazuddin’s lawyer, Aaliya is still married to her first husband, Vinay Bhargav.
“I regret giving my 18years to a man who has absolutely no value of me in his eyes,” Aaliyah wrote on Instagram on Friday. First, I met him in 2004 and we both went into a living relationship during his stay at Ekta Nagar, Charkop, Mhada, Mumbai, where he, me, and his brother Mr.Shamasuddin Siddiqui used to stay together in a single room where we began our journey together and were living very happily. I believed he loved me and would keep me happy for the rest of my life.”
Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married in 2011. The two have two kids–daughter Shora and son Yaani.
