It should be noted that the film is based on a biopic of women’s cricket legend Jhulan Goswami. I’m from Chakda, a small town in West Bengal. Despite numerous obstacles, Jhulan developed a passion for cricket. The film follows the highlights of Goswami’s career, from convincing her parents and breaking stereotypes to her rise as one of India’s greatest female cricketers. The film is set to be released on Netflix in the second quarter of 2022.
