The viewers of the popular TV show Naagin will soon see an unexpected crossover as Arjun Kapoor‘s character from his upcoming film Ek Villain Returns will appear on the show. Arjun’s appearance is part of the promotions for the film.

Ekta Kapoor, who is producing both the film and the show, has made the crossover possible. Tejasswi Prakash plays the lead in Naagin 6. Arjun recently visited the set of the show and shared a brief video with Tejasswi on Instagram.

Arjun was asked how he liked meeting everyone, especially Tejaswi Prakash, after shooting with the star cast. “I was excited to come and experience this crossover of Ek Villain and Naagin because both the film and show have romance, thrill, and exciting twists and turns in common,” the actor responded. That’s why I asked Ekta to make it happen, and she, in turn, asked me to do something in this regard.

I did the same thing when promoting Half Girlfriend.” Arjun appeared on a previous season of Naagin in 2017 to promote Half Girlfriend.
Arjun then stated that he knew the director from previous appearances on the show, but that the cast had changed. “The director of Naagin remains the same, but the team has changed.” Abhi Teja aa gayi hai life mein…wahi maine sabse jaa kar pucha ki ye Teja Teja kya hai toh unhone ne bataya ki aap logon ne hi naam rakha hai unka (I asked everyone what this Teja Teja is, and they told me it’s Tejaswi’s nickname).”

Arjun then claimed to have made a joke about Tejasswi and her boyfriend Karan Kundrra. “I cracked a rather poor joke with Tejasswi and said your favourite film must be Karan Arjun,” he explained. “Do tell people what a good joke you cracked,” she said.

Tejasswi and Karan met on the reality show Bigg Boss 15 and fell in love while living in the Bigg Boss house. They’ve been together since they left the show. Tejasswi was the show’s winner, with Karan coming in second place.

Arjun, along with co-stars Tara Sutaria, Disha Patani, and John Abraham, has been busy promoting Ek Villain Returns. The film, directed by Mohit Suri and co-produced by T-series and Balaji Telefilms, will be released in theatres on July 29.
