Many celebrities, from Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani to Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, have been grooving to the tunes of JugJugg Jeeyo’s The Punjaabban Song at various events. Arjun Kapoor, the actor, shared a video of himself dancing to the song with his sister Anshula Kapoor on Saturday. Sanjay Kapoor, their uncle, and Varun Dhawan, the lead in JugJugg Jeeyo, both reacted to the ‘epic’ video.
At an awards ceremony on Thursday, Arjun performed The Punjaabban Song with actors Kiara Advani, Sara Ali Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and others. A few days later, he shared another video of himself shaking his booty to the song, this time with his sister Anshula. The actor captioned their video, “Have done this one with my ‘Extended’ family and now doing it again with my ‘Family’ family!” This one’s for my brother @varundvn #JugJuggJeeyo mere Lala (my son)! Best wishes to everyone on the team.”
The siblings are seen in the video doing the hook step to The Punjaabban Song. Arjun is also seen mimicking actor Anil Kapoor by pouting like his uncle while performing one of his famous dance moves. Anil responded to the post with a heart emoji. While Anil’s younger brother, actor Sanjay Kapoor, made the most amusing remark on Arjun’s post. “You’re acting like Anil chachu (uncle); come right up to the camera… Anshula, poor Anshula,” he wrote. “Epicness,” Varun commented on Arjun’s video.
JugJugg Jeeyo, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 studios, hits theatres on June 24. Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor play the lead roles. Tisca Chopra, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Koli will also appear in the Raj Mehta-directed film. The family drama’s trailer was released in May.
