Someone is said to have used the credit card of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor to make about Rs 4 lakh worth of fraudulent purchases. The complaint says that on February 9, Rs. 3.82 lakh was taken from Kapoor’s account in five fraudulent transactions. On Wednesday, sections of the Information Technology Act were used to open a case at the Amboli police station in Mumbai.
Boney Kapoor found out that money had been taken out of his bank account, so he called the bank to find out what had happened. After that, he sent a written report to the police.
Janhvi Kapoor’s father told the police that no one had asked for his credit card information or called him about it. The police thought that someone got the information while Kapoor was using the card.
Money from Kapoor’s card went to the account of a company in Gurugram, it has been learned. The investigation is going on right now.
On the work front, Boney will be making his acting debut in a movie directed by Luv Ranjan and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and himself.
