Deepika Padukone was spotted incognito at the Gaiety Galaxy in Bandra on Sunday. The actor appears to have gone to the movies to see how the public reacted to her latest film, Pathaan. She was dressed in black casuals and hid her face behind a cap and mask as she was led out of the theatre by security personnel. Pathaan has broken numerous box office records and continues to do so. The film has amassed a worldwide gross of 400 crores. In the four days since its release, it has grossed $265 million in India and 164 million overseas. It is also the fastest film in India to cross the 250 crore mark. Baahubali 2, KGF 2, and Dangal took longer to reach the milestone.

Meanwhile, a group of people allegedly affiliated with a right-wing outfit smashed the display boards of a Pathaan screening theatre in Bhayander, Thane district, on Sunday evening, according to a police official. According to him, a video of the mob yelling anti-Shah Rukh and the film surfaced online. He added that nine people had been detained in this connection and that the process of filing a case was underway.
Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand, best known for his work on War. The ensemble cast includes Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana, as well as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in action-packed roles. Deepika will co-star with Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth’s next film, Fighter. It will be their first film together, and there will be many aerial scenes.
