While speaking to fans at an event commemorating his 57th birthday, actor Shah Rukh Khan revealed how he managed to stay fit during the Covid-19 pandemic. Shah Rukh had to bulk up for his upcoming action thriller Pathaan, and the Covid-19 pandemic threw a wrench in his plans. However, the actor revealed that during that time, he sought advice from his lockdown fitness gurus such as Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Tiger Shroff.
Shah Rukh began filming Pathaan in early 2021, but due to the closure of all gyms and subsequent lockdown during Covid-19’s second wave, he had no access to a personal trainer to continue his fitness regimen. All of this was discussed by Shah Rukh at an event marking his 57th birthday on Wednesday.
A fan account shared a paparazzo video of Shah Rukh Khan on stage with an interviewer. “Covid happened, and it’s been three years,” Shah Rukh said of his fitness routine at the time. I had no idea what to do. I used to be late getting out of bed in the morning. I’d go to the gym for 30-45 minutes after I woke up. However, due to quarantine regulations, no trainer was permitted. So I looked up exercises that I could do. Alternatively, I would solicit ideas from Salman bhai, Tiger, and Hrithik. “Can I do this, can I do that?” I’d ask.

All three actors, Salman Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Hrithik Roshan, are well-known for their physical fitness. The crowd erupted in applause when Shah Rukh mentioned Salman Khan’s name. Salman and Shah Rukh have been friends for decades, and Salman is said to have a cameo in Pathaan, after which Shah Rukh will reprise his Pathaan character in Salman’s upcoming film Tiger 3.
Pathaan is the first of three films scheduled for release in 2023 by Shah Rukh. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also appear in the film. The film is set to be released on January 25, 2020. He will then appear in Atlee’s action thriller Jawan, in which Nayanthara makes her Hindi debut. He’ll finish the year with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, starring Taapsee Pannu as the female lead.
