The film Ek Villain Returns is about a serial killer with a twisted sense of self-rationalization. He considers himself the torchbearer or messiah of one-sided lovers seeking vengeance by murdering the girls they adore. And he’s doing it all for ratings. The bigger the murder, the higher his ladylove’s rating. Isn’t it twisted?

However, the majority of serial killers have twisted minds. Eight years after Rakesh Mahadkar’s (Riteish Deshmukh) chilling murders, another serial killer is on the loose in Mumbai, wreaking havoc.

The film begins with the villain’s reappearance, in which he smashes the glass of a high-rise building and kills and assaults everyone in his path until he captures singer Aarvi (Tara Sutaria). Her murder is front-page news on every channel, and spoilt brat Gautam Mehra (Arjun Kapoor) is accused.

The story quickly shifts to a flashback in which Gautam crashes his ex-wedding girlfriend’s and causes quite a commotion. When the girl declares that she still loves him, he informs the aspiring groom that he can now marry her. Why? Because, as the saying goes, “marna chalega par haarna nahi.”

Aarvi makes a video of Gautam’s stunt go viral by rapping his seeti-maar dialogues. He tracks her down and learns that she aspires to be a singing sensation. He assists her in sabotaging another singer’s career and establishing her own. Earns her trust and love, and when the time comes, lashes out at her for making him a viral meme

Meanwhile, Bhairav Purohit (John Abraham) adores Rasika (Disha Patani). Rasika works as a salesgirl in an apparel store, while Bhairav is a cab driver and part-time zookeeper. And he will go to any length to win Rasika’s love and appreciation

While the trailer may have kept you guessing who the villain of this story is, you will know who the real villain is after only 30 minutes. However, the story’s regular twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat. There are several jump-scare moments in the first half, which build up to an interesting second half. And the final seven minutes of the film are spectacular.Ek Villain Returns’ gripping plot is the winner with an engaging storyline. Mohit Suri, who did a good job with the first film in the Ek Villain franchise, returns with a masala entertainer filled with massy dialogues, thrilling moments, and strong performances. While the films contain some impressive stunts, they also contain some bad VFX. The music in the film is good, and the songs are catchy, but no other Galliyaan has staying power

Arjun Kapoor shines as the spoilt brat obsessed with winning. After falling in love, he also has a change of heart. He stands out from the crowd with his convincing act and intense gaze. Disha Patani was a pleasant surprise. She nailed her role and was successful in bringing out Rasika’s evil side. Aarvi is one of Tara Sutaria’s best characters

so far performances John Abraham may appear overly muscled in the film, but when you see him breaking ribs and smashing heads and glasses, you’ll understand why no one else could convince us as Bhairav.

There were numerous illogical twists and action sequences in the film. They attempted to portray John Abraham as enormously powerful, with expertise in breaking glass, whether in high-rise buildings or on a metro rail. When he easily dislodges the pole in the metro train and breaks the iron gate in the zoo, he may remind you of Sunny Deol.

Aaj ke baad appko shikayat ka mauka nahi dunga’ by Riteish Deshmukh, on the other hand, is scarier than ‘Madam rating dena mat bhoolna’ by Ek Villain Returns. Riteish will be missed in the sequel if you have seen Ek Villain. We believe the creators were also aware of this. It’s no surprise they tried to make amends with the audience. How? You must first watch the film.

Toh main kaun hoon, darr aur pyaar logon se buri cheezein karwata hai? “Is it daar or pyaar?” Disha poses the question to John, but it is Arjun who responds near the end of the film.
