When Karan asked Samantha who she thought was the biggest female actor in the South right now, Samantha quickly responded, “Well, I just did a film with Nayanthara,” referring to their most recent collaboration, ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.’ KJo responded to Samantha’s choice by saying, “Well, not on my list!” The filmmaker was reportedly referring to a list released by a consulting firm that named Samantha as the country’s top female actor. This exchange has irritated Nayanthara fans, who believe the filmmaker has dismissed Nayanthara’s popularity.
“KJo I hope you realise that your Good Luck Jerry remake is a remake of Nayanthara’s film. Nayanthara is set to make her Bollywood debut in Atlee’s upcoming film, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan. This action film, titled ‘Jawan,’ is set to be released in June 2023.
