Kartik Aaryan is promoting his upcoming film Shehzada at the moment. The actor is currently on a road trip in Punjab. He recently stopped at a roadside dhaba and shared several photos and videos from his visit. Kriti Sanon, who accompanied him to Chandigarh, also appears in the film.
Kartik shared a slew of photos and videos on Instagram on Saturday, writing, “When in Punjab…. #Shehzada Tour.” The first image shows him sitting on a charpoy, holding a glass of tea. Behind him is a tractor loaded with dry sugarcanes. Another photograph includes his teammates. A photograph of him shows him pretending to eat dry sugarcane. There is also a photo of parathas with butter on them, and a woman, possibly Kriti, can be seen in the background.
A video also shows Kartik exiting a ‘gents washroom’ with swag. The restroom sign resembles his own appearance. There’s also a video of a fan praising Kartik, to which the actor responds, “Thank you sir.”
“Gents bathroom k pass aese kon pose deta h (who poses near the bathroom like this),” a fan commented on his post. Another user commented, “Gents bathroom,” with laughing and crying emojis. Another fan commented, “Gents Bathroom Shuddh Hogye (the gents’ bathroom has now been purified).” Another comment read, “Where is the gents’ bathroom?”
Kartik had travelled to Punjab with Kriti to promote the trailer for Shehzada. There, the couple also celebrated Lohri. On Friday, Kartik shared a video from the Lohri celebrations in which he and Kriti could be seen dancing to the dhol beats. Kartik had shared it by writing, “Lohri di lakh lakh vadhaiyan #Shehzada ki taraf se. My first Lohri festival in Punjab.”
The film is directed by Rohit Dhawan and stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar. It will be released in theatres on February 10. Kartik makes his debut as a co-producer.
Shehzada is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, which starred Allu Arjun. Kartik will also appear in Kabir Khan’s untitled film and Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film.
