Jennifer Winget discussed her divorce from Karan Singh Grover in a new interview. Jennifer and Karan dated for several years before marrying in 2012, and they filed for divorce in 2014. Jennifer has stated that they were not prepared when they made the decision, and that she had to cut off contact with people following their divorce.
Jennifer Winget and Karan met on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye and began dating. Jennifer played Dr. Riddhima Gupta in the show, and Karan played her love interest, Dr. Armaan Malik. Karan was previously married to Shraddha Nigam before marrying Jennifer.

Jennifer recently told Bollywood Bubble, “I think both of us were not ready.” It wasn’t just him (Karan Singh Grover) or me; we weren’t both ready to take that step. We’d known each other for a long time. Every time we met, it was like a house on fire. But I suppose it was unfortunate timing.”

She also discussed how she was lost after her divorce and how she cut off contact with people. “I was so lost and confused that I didn’t know what to tell people or how to process that,” she said. I remember my friends forcing me to go out when I said I didn’t want to.

But whenever I went out, I would see people looking at me with those sad, sympathetic eyes like ‘arre bechari yaar,’ which irritated me even more. That’s why I’m not going out. I appreciate your concern for me, but I don’t require it right now. I’m not ready to deal with you right now because I’m dealing with myself. So that’s why I cut myself off from people, and when I was done with it, I was done with it.”

Following his divorce from Jennifer in 2014, Karan met actor Bipasha Basu on the sets of Alone in 2015, and the two began dating soon after. On April 30, 2016, the couple married.
