Actor Hrithik Roshan celebrated Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday on Tuesday by posting a heartfelt reminiscence. Although Hrithik and Amitabh have collaborated on a few movies, the throwback was from a time long before Hrithik started in the business. He told how, as a young child, he was so awestruck by Amitabh that he declined to perform with him in the 1979 movie Mr. Natwarlal.
Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, and Amjad Khan appeared in Mr. Natwarlal, and Rajesh Roshan, Hrithik’s uncle, composed the music. Amitabh himself sang one song, Mere Paas Aao, which required some young singers to provide backup vocals. Hrithik shared a photo of himself as a child staring at Amitabh on the set with his mouth open in remembrance of it. Amitabh and Rajesh Roshan shared a seat. “Each of us possesses a small amount of Amitabh Bachchan. amazed with an open mouth. When I see the man, I remain in that state. Hrithik wished Amitabh Bachchan a happy birthday in the caption.
Hrithik stated, “Mehboob studio Bombay 1979: After I consented to sing a line in the song “Mere pass aao,” my chacha Mr. Rajesh Roshan invited me to the song recording for Mr. Natwarlal. For reasons that are extremely obvious on my expression in the photo above, I had to cancel at the last minute.

Oct. 11 was Amitabh’s 80th birthday. Many people in the industry sent him birthday greetings, including Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, and Mohanlal. The renowned actor received congratulations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well, to which he also replied on Twitter.
