A court in Delhi has given actress Jacqueline Fernandez permission to go abroad from May 31 to June 5 to attend and perform at the IIFA Awards 2022 in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The Bollywood awards show will be held between June 2 and June 4. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is looking into Jacqueline in a Rs 200 crore extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is thought to be a con artist.

In its order letting Jacqueline travel abroad on those dates, the Court put a number of restrictions on her. She has to put up a surety of Rs 50 lakh, give the agency her itinerary, where she will be staying, and a number where she can be reached. When she gets back to India, she has to let the agency know.

Jacqueline is a citizen of Sri Lanka, but she has lived in India since 2009. The ED told her she couldn’t go abroad because she might be needed to help with an investigation into money laundering.

The ED has talked to the actress from Bhoot Police more than once about the case involving Sukesh and his actress wife, Leena Maria Paul. The agency said that Sukesh gave Jacqueline many expensive gifts, like Persian cats and a horse.

Several private photos of Jacqueline and Sukesh were posted on social media, which made things even worse.

In the case of con man Sukesh Chandrashekar, Jacqueline Fernandez’s name keeps coming up. The ED is doing the investigation because of the Rs 200 crore extortion case. Jacqueline is a witness in the case right now, and she has even made a recording of her testimony. She has been told not to leave the country and to be ready for an investigation at any time. Since IIFA 2022 is coming up, Jacqueline Fernandez has to fly to Dubai, Yas Island, to take part in the awards show.

For the same reason, Jacqueline has asked a court in Delhi to let her go abroad for 15 days to attend the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi. She has also asked the court for permission to go to France, Nepal, and Abu Dhabi.

In the money laundering case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took Jacqueline Fernandez’s property away last month. Sources say that the agency took possession of valuables and property, including a fixed deposit worth Rs 7.27 crore.

In the same case, not only Jacqueline but also Nora Fatehi has been looked into. Models and Bollywood stars say that Chandrasekhar, a con artist, gave them gifts worth Rs 20 crore. Some of them wouldn’t take the gifts he gave them. Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline, on the other hand, are thought to have taken expensive gifts from Chandrasekhar. He is said to have given Jacqueline a lot of expensive gifts, like Gucci gym clothes and shoes, a Rolex watch, 15 pairs of earrings, 5 Birkin bags, Hermes bangles, and LV bags. The charge sheet says that he also gave Jacqueline a small helicopter, which she then gave back.
