Janhvi Kapoor has stated that she is willing to go to any length to work with Alia Bhatt. Janhvi declared herself Alia’s biggest fan, revealing how she fangirls over the actor every time her trailer or film is released. Janhvi revealed that she is afraid of making Alia feel afraid of her, which would force the actor to file a restraining order.
Janhvi and Alia are both currently promoting their upcoming films. Janhvi will appear in Good Luck Jerry, which will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29. Darlings, Alia Bhatt’s directorial debut, will premiere on Netflix on August 5.
Janhvi expressed her admiration for Alia in a recent interview while promoting Good Luck Jerry, when asked if they would appear in a film together. Janhvi stated to Siddharth Kannan, “To work with Alia Bhatt, I would kill someone or kill everyone. I am unquestionably her biggest fan. In fact, I am stalking her. I don’t stalk her, but whenever her trailer or film is released, I get really hyper and agitated. Because I love her so much. And I’m not aware of how incoherent my text messages to her are. Doesn’t it feel like someone is yelling when they type in capital letters? As a result, all of my messages to her are in caps lock.”
The actor continued, “And I’m terrified that she’ll file a restraining order against me. They’re all like, ‘OH MY GOD. WHAT THE HECK? ARE YOU ALLRIGHT? THIS IS NOT PERMITTED. ‘I CAN’T BREATHE!’ On texts, I am extremely aggressive with her. If I show you my conversations, all you’ll hear is me screaming and her saying, ‘thanks babu.’ I think she’s afraid of me.”
Janhvi Kapoor will play a woman from Bihar who becomes a drug dealer in Punjab to care for her ailing mother in Good Luck Jerry. Sidharth Sengupta’s black comedy crime film is a remake of the 2018 Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila.
