Janhvi Kapoor, who was most recently seen in the Disney+ Hotstar release Good Luck Jerry, was well-known before making her film debut in 2018. Janhvi is the daughter of late actor Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor and was born into the prominent Kapoor family. Janhvi, like her mother, chose to be an actress, so she is frequently asked what she has learned from her. Janhvi recently told YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia that, while she is frequently asked this question, she feels she could have answered it more freely if her mother was still alive.
“I think if she was here, I would have been able to answer it a lot more freely,” she said. “But now that she isn’t, I keep thinking people might think it’s arrogant of me to draw parallels between myself and my mom.” The Roohi actor stated that while she was a celebrity to the audience, Sridevi was her mother.
Janhvi stated that many of her daily activities are similar to those of Sridevi. “Apparently, I walk like her when I walk down the corridor in the morning.” My eating habits and the sounds I make are identical to hers. My voice appears to be very similar to hers.
Apparently, I cry like her. I am needy like her, I think,” she said.
Janhvi added that she sees similarities between herself and Sridevi in terms of acting. “Like her, I’m a little on and off in front of the camera.” “I believe I am sensitive like her,” she admitted.
Sridevi “stood for dignity and innocence” in life, according to the 25-year-old actor. “In my head, she was such a beacon of someone who, after spending so many years in the industry, was still a child, was still so naive at the ways of the world, innocent, sheltered,” she continued. And I believe that’s what kept her art pure, and kept her as a person pure.”
Sridevi passed away in February 2018, a few months before Janhvi made her film debut in Dhadak.
