Kangana Ranaut is hard at work on another set for her upcoming film, Emergency. Late Thursday, the actor shared several photos from her day out with her team as they searched for the perfect location for the film shoot by going around a river and surrounding areas.
Kangana captioned the photos on Instagram, “TECH- RECCE EMERGENCY November/2022.” Kangana is pictured in an olive green jacket and tights jumping from one rock to another in a river. She is also seen relaxing on a rock while her team members scout for a location in the distance. Other photos show her in a red tracksuit and a black cap, looking around a cottage and surrounding greenery.
Several fans claimed the photos were taken near Assam’s Kaziranga National Park and welcomed her to the state. “Welcome to Karbi Anglong Mam,” one fan wrote. Thank you so much for paying us a visit, ma’am.” “Welcome to our Assam,” wrote another.
She took to Instagram Stories to share more photos from the reconnaissance mission. She captioned a photo of herself standing in the river holding a rock, “This is what happens when you get over excited.” In another image, she referred to her team members as “set soldiers.”
Kangana’s first solo directorial project is Emergency. It is based on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kangana playing the late politician. In addition to Kangana, the film features prominent performances by Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade.
Aside from Emergency, she has director Sarwesh Mewara’s Tejas in the works, in which she will play an Indian Air Force pilot. She recently announced that she will play the lead in a biopic of legendary theatre artist Noti Binodini.
