Kangana Ranaut has responded to Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s statement regarding his ex-wife Aaliya’s allegations. Here’s what she had to say.
Kangana Ranaut backed fellow actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui after he broke his silence on his ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui’s allegations against him. Kangana wrote on her Instagram Stories on Monday, “@nawazuddin. siddiqui saab (sir)…silence does not always bring us peace… I’m glad you made this statement (hands folded emoji).”
“Silence doesn’t always give us peace, @Nawazuddin S saab (sir), there are many fans and well-wishers of yours who care to know your side of the story,” she wrote on Twitter.
On Monday, Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to Instagram and posted a lengthy message. According to his statement, “Because of my silence, I am labelled as a bad guy everywhere. I’ve kept quiet because all of this tamasha (show) will be read by my small children somewhere. Social media platforms, the press, and a large number of people are enjoying my character assassination based on one-sided and manipulated videos. There are a few points I’d like to make—1. First and foremost, Aaliya and I have not been together for several years; we are divorced, but we have always had an understanding for our children.”
“She only wants more money and thus has filed numerous cases on me and my mother & it’s her routine, she has done the same in the past too and withdraws the case when paid as per her demand,” he said in his statement.
This isn’t the first time Kangana has come out in support of Nawazuddin. Aaliya shared a video last month of her verbal altercation with her ex-husband as he stood outside the house’s gate.
Kangana wrote on Instagram Stories, “Itna dukk ho raha hai yeh sab dekh ke…Nawaz saab ko unke ghar ke bahar aise baizzat kiya ja raha hai…unhone apna sab kuch family ko de diya, kai saal rent pe rahe rickshaw mein TWS ki shoot pe aate the abhi last year toh yeh Bangalow?
All of these people appear to be depressed… (Nawaz sir is being humiliated outside his home…he gave everything to his family, stayed in a rented place for several years…he used to take a rickshaw to TWS shoot. He only bought this bungalow last year, and now his ex-wife has come to claim it)…so sad.” Tiku Weds Sheru is Nawazuddin’s upcoming film.
“I never met the ex-wife, but now she has taken over the bungalow and is not allowing him to enter, I just saw he is standing on the road and she is making videos of such a big star, kya badmashi hai yeh (what wickedness is this), I feel like crying… it’s not easy to make money from acting jobs, actors work very hard, how can she just decide to keep the house and lock him outside like that,” she wrote.
The Bombay High Court suggested last month that Nawazuddin and Aaliya try to settle their differences over their two minor children amicably. He had petitioned the Supreme Court with a habeas corpus (produce the person) petition, requesting that his ex-wife reveal the whereabouts of their children.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the actor, has spoken out after his ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui levelled several allegations against him. Nawazuddin issued a statement on Instagram on Monday. “This is not an allegation, but rather an expression of my emotions,” he captioned the post. The actor said that a section of the people is enjoying his ‘character assassination on the basis of one-sided and manipulated videos’.
Nawazuddin also stated that Aaliya ‘only wants more money,’ and that ‘it’s her routine’. He also stated that Aaliya is ‘doing all of this to simply blackmail me, malign my reputation, her intent to ruin my career, and fulfil her illegitimate demands’. The actor also claimed to be divorced from Aaliya.
Nawazuddin wrote, “I am termed as a bad guy everywhere because of my silence. The reason I have kept quiet is because all this tamasha (show) will somewhere be read by my small children. Social Media Platforms, Press and a bunch of people are really enjoying my character assassination on the basis of one sided and manipulated videos. There are few points, I would like to express–1. First of all me and Aaliya do not stay together since several years, we are already divorced but we definitely had an understanding only for our kids.”
He went on, “2. Does anyone know why my kids are in India and not attending school for 45 days, despite the fact that the school is sending me letters every day stating that it’s been too long? My children have been held hostage for the past 45 days and are missing school in Dubai. 3. She had abandoned the children in Dubai for the previous four months before summoning them here on the pretext of demanding money. She has been paid approximately 10 lakhs per month for the past two years, and 5-7 lakhs per month prior to moving to Dubai with my children, excluding school fees, medical, travel, and other leisure activities.”
“I have also financed her three films costing me crores of rupees, just to help her set up her income stream, because she is the mother of my children. She was given luxurious cars for my kids, but she sold them and spent the money on herself. I have also bought a lavish sea facing apartment in Versova, Mumbai for my children, and Aaliya was made the co-owner of the said apartment as my children are small.”
