On Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut and her family hosted a special visitor at their Manali home. Jairam Thakur, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, met the actress and her family and had breakfast with them. Kangana shared photos of their meeting and details of the treats she served the CM during their meal on Instagram.
Kangana splits her time between Mumbai and her home in Manali, which is close to where she was born. She posted many images on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, claiming that Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur had visited her residence in the mountains. She wrote, “Had the honour to meet the honourable Himachal CM Jairam Thakur ji at home today,” in Hindi. His humility and devotion to Himachal are inspiring. The image shows Kangana talking with the chief minister, Manali MLA Govind Singh Thakur, and a few of her family members in the actor’s home room.
Another image of Kangana, the CM, and her mother Asha Ranaut at the dinner table was also shared by the actress. She wrote alongside in Hindi, “My mother had made babru and Himachali bhalle for the CM for breakfast.” The star shared another photo of her family posing alongside the CM and the MLA.
In a little town close to Manali called Bhambla, Kangana was born. She moved to Mumbai as a youngster to pursue an acting career but has remained connected to her hometown. She has made no secret of her fondness for her home state and recently constructed an opulent home there.
The actor’s most recent appearance was in the action film Dhaakad, a box office failure that struggled to make even 10 crore. However, the movie enjoyed considerable success after it was made available online on Zee5. In her upcoming film Tejas, which stars her as an Air Force pilot, the actor is currently anticipating its release. In the historical drama Emergency, she will be seen playing the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
