Kangana Ranaut, the actress, has now expressed her support for ‘ideologically motivated’ Twitter, which she also referred to as the ‘best social media platform.’ Kangana also criticised Twitter’s verification process on Instagram Stories on Sunday. Kangana also stated that paying a fee to keep a Twitter account ‘will only help it build its integrity.’
Kangana stated, “Twitter is the best social media platform right now because it is intellectually / ideologically motivated rather than about looks or lifestyle. I could never understand the concept of verification that some selected few get, as if others don’t have an authentic existence, for example, if my father wants a blue tick, 3-4 clowns will dismiss his very identity as if he is living some illegal life… Simple as that, everyone with an Aadhar card must get varied (cont).”

Kangana’s Twitter account was ‘permanently suspended’ in May 2021 for repeated violations of Twitter rules. Elon Musk, a businessman, purchased Twitter more than a year later. Kangana claimed last month that she predicted the doom of ex-Twitter heads a long time ago, which came true. She wrote on Instagram, “Trending since morning I had predicted the doom of ex Twitter heads long ago…another prediction came true.”
Kangana is currently in Assam filming her upcoming film Emergency. She recently paid a visit to Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, in Guwahati. She posted several photos with the CM on Instagram.
Kangana Ranaut will play late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the period drama Emergency. Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade also play important roles in the film.
She is also working on Tiku Weds Sheru. The film is directed by Sai Kabir and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles. Kangana will also appear in a biopic about legendary theatre artist Noti Binodini. Pradeep Sarkar, a filmmaker, will direct the film.
