Dhaakad Box Office Collection Day 8: The movie starring Kangana Ranaut hasn’t been able to keep its place at the Indian box office because it hasn’t been able to impress people and get them to the theatres. Since it came out on May 27 with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the movie has been working hard to stay alive. The movie could only sell 20 tickets, which brought in Rs 4000. The action movie, which also starred Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta, started out with as little as Rs 50 lakhs and has now made around Rs 3 crore. The Twitter account for Box Office India said, “Today, #Dhaakad makes 4,000 by selling 20 tickets all over India. Alia Bhatt’s #GangubaiKathiawadi, on the other hand, made $5.01 million net on its second Friday.”

The movie’s distributors were upset with how it did, so they cut the number of times it was shown, saying that “very few people showed up.” Most of the shows have been replaced by Kartik’s horror-comedy, which is getting a lot of people in the seats. And after Anek by Aayushmann Khurrana and Top Gun by Tom Cruise come out, it will be hard for Maverick by Kangana.

On the condition of anonymity, a trade critic in Mumbai said that when a movie doesn’t do well at the box office, theatre owners often choose the movies that are getting good reviews. “There was a need and demand from the audience for ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2,’ but nothing for ‘Dhaakad,'” he told PTI, adding that ‘Dhaakad’ shows have definitely been cut back and cancelled in many places.

Razneesh Ghai is in charge of ‘Dhaakad,’ which stars Kangana Ranaut as the hero Agent Agni, Divya Dutta as her love interest Rohini, and Arjun Rampal as the bad guy Rudraveer. Agent Agni, a well-trained and dangerous field agent, has been given the job of gathering information on and killing Rudraveer, an international human and arms trafficker who has been out of sight for ten years.
