The movie Dhaakad came out on Friday, just like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which also starred Kangana Ranaut. But compared to the horror-comedy, it hasn’t done nearly as well at the box office. The movie only made Rs 50 lakh on its first day, which was a pretty disappointing start in and of itself. Well, it was very important for the movie to do well on its first weekend, but it looks like the numbers on Sunday are also low. The horror-comedy with Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu was the first choice of moviegoers, which can be seen from how much money it made at the box office. The movie made a lot more money on Sunday, which led to a great total of around Rs 50 crores.
Even though Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was out, word on the street was that the audience wasn’t excited to see Dhaakad. On the first day of the show, there were only a few people in the theatres. This is why several shows in different parts of the country had to be canceled.
Early estimates of Dhaakad day 1 were tweeted by Ramesh Bala. He wrote, “#Dhaakad early estimates for All-India Day 1 are 50 Lakhs Nett..”
Payal Rohatgi, who was also in Lock Upp, made fun of the actress because her movies didn’t do well at the box office. She put up a post on Instagram that said, “Karma is a skank… Jisko 18 lakh vote mile na usne film ki promotion ki na uske BOTS film dekhne aaye. #Sita MA par film banane waali hai Kangana ji aur usme Sita MA ka mazak udane waale ko shayad role bhi degi kyuki use apni objectivity dikhani hai samaaj ko.”
Razneesh Ghai is in charge of making Dhakaad. The story is about Agent Agni, a well-trained and dangerous field agent whose job is to find out about and kill Rudraveer, an international humanitarian and arms trafficker who has been out of sight for ten years.
