Kangana Ranaut's Twitter ban has been lifted. Take a look at her first tweet.

Kangana Ranaut, whose Twitter account was previously suspended, has reactivated her account. Her next film, Emergency, was recently completed. On Tuesday, Kangana’s team’s Twitter account tweeted, “Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here.”

Many users, including some celebrities, took to the comment section shortly after the post was shared to welcome her. Her fans joined in on the festivities as well.

Kangana also shared a behind-the-scenes video from Emergency, which was produced by Manikarnika Films. She stated, “And that’s the end of the story!!! The emergency filming was completed successfully… See you in the theatres on October 20, 2023.”

Kangana’s Twitter account was ‘permanently suspended for repeated violations’ on the social media platform in May 2021. According to a Twitter spokesperson, “We have stated unequivocally that we will take strong enforcement action against behaviour that has the potential to cause offline harm. The aforementioned account has been permanently suspended for multiple violations of Twitter Rules, specifically our Hateful Conduct and Abusive Behaviour policies. For everyone on our service, we apply the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially.”

Later, after Tesla CEO Elon Musk took control of Twitter, Kangana amplified fan messages pleading with Elon Musk to restore the actor’s account.

Kangana plays late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her next film, Emergency. She recently revealed that she had to mortgage her house to make the political drama, which she directed. “As I wrap Emergency as an actor today… a tremendously glorious phase of my life comes to a close,” she wrote in a post. It may appear that I breezed through it, but the truth is far from it… From mortgaging everything I owned to being diagnosed with dengue during the first schedule and having to film despite dangerously low blood cell counts, my character as an individual has been severely tested…

Kangana is also working on Tejas, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda, The Incarnation: Sita, a biopic of Bengali theatre personality Noti Binodini, and Chandramukhi 2.
