Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada trailer has finally arrived, and it features him in a new avatar. The actor, who is making his action hero debut, maintains his comedic timing as he discusses’real nepotism,’ wanting to be both a lawyer and a bouncer, and much more. Shehzada is an official Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, which starred Allu Arjun. Shehzada, starring Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar, will be released in theatres on February 10, 2023
When it comes to family, Kartik speaks about taking action rather than just participating in discussions in the Shehzada trailer. He is then seen beating up bad guys in a variety of settings, including near a basketball court, a port, and a factory, among others. Kartik’s less-macho side is revealed next, in which all he does is eat food. When his ‘baba (father),’ Paresh Rawal, asks him if he wants to be a lawyer or a bouncer, Kartik responds, “Dono (both).”

Kartik is led to his biological father, Randeep, who is not only wealthy and successful, but also Paresh’s boss, by a series of events. Kartik’s only desire now is to live his ‘Shehzada (prince)’ life, and he rides a horse into his real father’s lavish mansion.
Kartik then meets ‘educated, talented, and disciplined’ Kriti Sanon, who also happens to be Randeep’s fiancee. The trailer then follows the exploits of Randeep’s ‘asli beta (real son),’ Kartik, as he beats up bad guys and attempts to save his real family. He also speaks with his father’s other son, Ankur Rathee, and explains what ‘true nepotism’ is, as well as how his life has been full of luxuries without having to work for any of them. “When you wanted milk, you got kheer (a sweet dish), and that too made of almond milk… that is true nepotism,” he told Ankur.
Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Allu Arvind, S Radha Krishna, and Aman Gill produce Shehzada. Kartik Aaryan returns to the big screen after his smash hit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), directed by Anees Bazmee. Kartik was most recently seen in the OTT romantic thriller Freddy, co-starring Alaya F. Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3, Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, Kabir Khan’s next untitled film, and Hansal Mehta’s Captain India are among his upcoming projects.
