Laal Singh Chaddha Box Office Collection: Aamir Khan’s Bollywood film, Laal Singh Chaddha, has failed to attract audiences in theatres worldwide. The superstar has a large fan base outside of India, but the film is not receiving the kind of attention that his previous films have received. According to recent trade reports, Laal Singh Chaddha, which also stars Kareena Kapoor, was unable to make money in international markets.
Box Office Earnings for Laal Singh Chaddha
According to Box Office India, “Laal Singh Chaddha is struggling in countries other than the United States and Canada. The film has earned approximately $6.8 million in 13 days and will most likely end its two-week run with a total of $7.1-7.2 million. Because it was released early, the two weeks are only 15 days long.”
While in the United States/Canada, it earned USD 31,00,000, it earned USD 875,000 and USD 1,200,000 in the United Kingdom and the Gulf, respectively.
“Despite a positive trend in the United States and Canada, this is not an impressive performance because there were high expectations for this film in this circuit. The rest of the markets dropped significantly in the second weekend, and a market like Gulf nearly crashed, and it may not even do $1.5 million here. Overall, the film should cross the $7.5 million mark as the business in the United States and Canada continues to grow, but the $8 million mark appears to be a best-case scenario, with expectations almost double of what it will do “According to the BOI report.
Laal Singh Chaddha’s Biography
LSD, directed by Advait Chandan, is the official remake of the Tom Hanks-starrer “Forrest Gump” (1994). Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya, and Manav Vij also play important roles in the film. Guest stars include Shah Rukh Khan and veteran actor Kamini Kaushal.
The Hindi adaptation revolves around the life of Laal (Khan), a slow-witted but kind-hearted man who narrates important events in his life that coincide with many iconic events in Indian history. The film was also released in Tamil and Telugu, in addition to Hindi.
