Munawar Faruqui debunked rumours that he would appear on Rohit Shetty’s adventure-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. He stated that he will not be appearing on the show. He also stated that he was unable to participate in the show due to “some reasons.” However, the update disappointed his fans. The comedian who won Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp apologised to his fans on Instagram.
He stated, “Doston, kuch wajah se mai nahi hissa ban paunga KKK ka. I’m truly sorry, yakeen mano mera bahot mann tha lekin kismat ko kuch manzur hai, aap sab disappoint ho, lekin nahi ja pane ka muje bhi bura lag raha hai. I’m truly sorry; believe me, I really wanted to be a part of the show, but fate had other plans for me. You must be disappointed in me, but I, too, regret my decision).”
