Natasha Poonawalla’s ‘candy dress’ has caused outrage among Instagram users and celebrities. On Wednesday, the socialite and entrepreneur shared photos of herself wearing a red and white puffer coat couture gown by designer label Moncler on Instagram. Following that, celebrities like Karan Johar and Rahul Khanna gushed about Natasha’s dramatic look in the comments section of her post.

Meanwhile, fashion-based Instagram account Diet Sabya shared her edited photos, and wrote, “This is possibly the greatest outfit of all time. Not to mention the most meme-worthy!! Mrs. Vaccine consumed!” Natasha responded to the post in the comments section with a laughing emoji. Mrs Vaccine is the wife of Adarsh Poonawalla, whose company Serum Institute of India developed the Covishield Covid-19 vaccine.
While celebrities couldn’t stop talking about Natasha’s outfit, some Instagram users were less than impressed, while others joked about it. “Fashion or sleeping bag?” one person commented on Natasha’s post. Another person compared her appearance to that of actor-director Rishab Shetty in his recent Kannada film, and said, “Kantara… who?” Another remarked on Natasha’s appearance, saying, “Guest services in the hotel folded the towel a little differently.” “Fashion ke naam pe kuch bhi (Anything in the name of fashion),” one commenter added.
