Nadeem Zafar Zaidi, the lawyer for actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, held a press conference in Delhi and discussed the ongoing dispute between him and his wife, Aaliya aka Zainab aka Anjana Kishor Pandey. Rihan Khan, the National President of the Rashtriya Hindu-Muslim Ekta Manch, joined him. The actor’s lawyer claimed that Aaliya is still married to her first husband, Vinay Bhargav, after she accused the actor and his family of harassing her at home.
In 2011, Nawazuddin and Aaliya married. They have two children, Shora and Yaani. During the dispute, Nawazuddin is said to have moved out of his Mumbai home and is staying in a hotel. His mother filed a property dispute complaint against Aaliya.
“In 2001, Aaliya aka Anjali Kumari, an 8th class fail, married Vinay Bhargav,” the actor’s lawyer said in a new statement to the media. Then she moved to Mumbai and changed her name to Anjana Pandey, then Anjana Anand in 2010. She later changed her name to Zainab and converted to Islam. She later married Nawazuddin and divorced him by mutual consent in 2011. But when Nawazuddin’s career took off, she reappeared in his life as Aaliya. She sent him a divorce notice in 2020, which makes no sense given that the two had already separated.”
He also claimed that Aaliya lied about her date of birth because it differed between her marksheet and passport. In 2008-2009, Anjana had another love marriage with a man named Rahul, and the two also shared a flat in Goregaon, Mumbai. Because of Anjana’s desire to succeed, they formed a gang that included one of Anjana’s sisters, Archana Pandey. Anjana Pandey was living in Mumbai to fulfil her ambition, while Vinay Bhargav married Anjana’s sister in Jabalpur. Archana Bhargav is already married to Rajkumar Shukla, and the couple did not divorce. Vinay Bhargav also registered Anjana’s name as his wife in the railway department, which was discovered during a record review.
Aaliya’s lawyer stated last month that Nawazuddin and his family members ‘ensured no food, no bathroom is given to my client.’ “Mr Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family members did everything they could to get my client, Mrs Aaliya Siddiqui, out of the house. They filed an untenable criminal trespass complaint against her. Following that, the police threatened to arrest her and summoned her to the police station each day after sunset,” he added.
