The actor Neetu Kapoor said that she was “always the stronger one” between her and her late husband, the actor Rishi Kapoor. Neetu said in a new interview that whenever anything bad happened in their lives, it was always she who gave Rishi Kapoor strength. Neetu also said that after Rishi died, she talked to a psychiatrist. She said, though, that she stopped going because her doctor told her to do things that she already knew. Neetu Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor as Khel Kehl Mein turns 47 years old and posts stills from old movies on Instagram.

After fighting leukaemia for two years, Rishi Kapoor died on April 30, 2020. He was 67. Besharam, an action comedy from 2013, was Neetu’s last movie. Her son, the actor Ranbir Kapoor, and Rishi were both in the movie. She will next be seen in JugJugg Jeeyo, which is made by Dharma Productions. Neetu has been on a few reality shows since Rishi’s death.

Neetu told Health Shots in an interview, “Life makes you strong, you know. When you have good times and bad times. And when we’re having a bad time, we think it’s the worst. But I think that’s the best time because God is making you stronger so you can handle anything that comes your way. I’ve been through a lot of it in my life, which might be why I’m strong enough to handle any situation. My husband was weaker than I was. If something bad were to happen to us, I would give him that strength. I was always more powerful.”

Neetu said this to other women who are going through hard times: “No matter how you feel or what your problem is, you need to do something. If you are having trouble with your mind, you should see a psychiatrist. I went to see a therapist. I used to go to the doctor after my husband left, but then I said, “I am stronger than what the doctor says.” When the doctor told me to do things I already knew how to do, I thought, “Why don’t I just do these myself?” So, I stopped going to the doctor and worked on my feelings of “missing him” and “being down” to make myself stronger.”

Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Kohli are also in Raj Mehta’s JugJugg Jeeyo, which he directed. Anil plays Neetu’s husband in the movie. The movie is going to come out on June 24.
