Ranbir Kapoor recently commented on Uorfi Javed’s outfits, calling them “bad taste.” Kareena Kapoor was the one who asked him about her.
Ranbir Kapoor, who is known for her unique and bold looks, recently disapproved of Uorfi Javed’s sartorial choices. This occurred during Ranbir’s appearance as a guest on Kareena Kapoor’s show What Women Want. The show was recently resurrected for its fourth season, and Ranbir appeared as a guest as part of the promotion for his most recent film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Kareena Kapoor asked Ranbir for his opinion on several actors dressed in various looks during a segment of the show. The only catch was that the actors’ faces were not shown. Interestingly, Ranbir correctly identified them based on their attire and commented on them as ‘good’ or ‘bad taste.’
“I think you know who this person is,” Kareena said as she placed a placard of Uorfi Javed in front of Ranbir. “Was that Uorfi?” Ranbir guessed correctly. “I’m not a big fan of this kind of fashion,” he said. But I believe we live in a world today where if you are comfortable in your own skin…” Kareena interrupted him and inquired, “Good taste or bad taste, Ranbir?” “Bad taste,” he replied.
Kareena also showed Ranbir a Priyanka Chopra placard in addition to Uorfi. She was dressed in a gown. “PeeCee is incredible,” Ranbir said. So, unquestionably good taste. I believe she has a lot of carriage and manages to pull it off. Because she is so self-assured. And if you have confidence in yourself, you can accomplish anything.” Uorfi, on the other hand, who is quite vocal on social media, has yet to respond to Ranbir’s words.
Meanwhile, Uorfi is known for her daring fashion choices. Many people both praise and criticise her for it. Ranveer Singh, Masaba Gupta, and Kangana Ranaut have all spoken out about it.
Ranveer Singh praised Uorfi and referred to her as a “fashion icon” on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan. Karan asked the actor on the show, “Whose nightmare would it be to repeat an outfit too quickly?” “Uorfi Javed,” he replied. “Because she’s in new cuts,” Karan continued. “Yeah, she is a fashion icon,” Ranveer reasoned.

Kareena asks Ranbir about his relationship with actor-wife Alia Bhatt on the show. She asks, “Stay up and fight with Alia or sleep over it?” Responding to this question, Ranbir instantly replies, “I am the sleep over it kind of a guy. Let’s just sleep on it and pick it up in the morning because… kya hota he ki (what happens is) when a couple fights, a lot of things are said for effect and you don’t really mean it and the other person thinks you’re coming from a place of something so that person takes those 3-4 words and it stays with that person and you have to clarify it.
Kareena then responds to Ranbir’s response by asking, “How are you so sensible?” and claims that he has his answers prepared since before the show. Ranbir responds that he has no idea what questions she will ask and that he still needs to finish his answer.
He then adds, “I think space is great, and Alia is someone… she’s a lawyer, so if she feels wronged, she won’t let go until she gets her point across. And I am the guy with no ego. I also lack self-respect. I am very comfortable saying sorry, whether I am correct or incorrect, and I enjoy that space. I like the idea of space.”
Ranbir married Alia in April of last year. Raha Kapoor, their daughter, was born in November 2022. They recently celebrated their first Holi as a couple and parents.

Ranbir Kapoor will be the next guest on Kareena Kapoor’s show, What Women Want. The actor-cousins had previously shot for the episode and were seen on set. In a new teaser for the show, Ranbir speaks candidly about his life changes, from marrying Alia Bhatt to welcoming their daughter Raha Kapoor.
Kareena Kapoor begins the video by welcoming Ranbir to the show with a warm hug. Kareena wore a red halter-neck jumpsuit while Ranbir was casual in an all-denim look. “Thank you for inviting me,” Ranbir says upon meeting her. This is the only thing I was excited about.”
“Unfortunately, we only get together on couches,” he jokes. “No, that I don’t think,” Kareena says, disagreeing with him. She then inquired about Ranbir and Alia’s daughter Raha Kapoor. “I’d like to discuss all of the major events that occurred in the last year. You tied the knot. You became a father. Has her diaper been changed?”
“I’ve changed diapers… but I’m more of a burping master,” Ranbir admits. The two also discuss claims that female actors should not be taller than their male counterparts, as many believe. Dismissing it, Ranbir cites the ‘three Khans,’ Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan, who have worked with a wide range of female actors.
Kareena also asks Ranbir, referring to one of his popular Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani dialogues, “What is that moment when you got the feeling from Alia that I’m ready for daal chawal?” “I’d like to think I’m a good husband,” he says comfortably.
