John Abraham has stated that, while he would like to produce films for the digital medium, he does not consider himself an OTT actor.
In an interview with ETimes, John stated that while he is fine with releasing his productions on streaming platforms, as an actor, he prefers to work on the big screen. “I would not like to be available for Rs 299 or 499,” the actor added. I have an issue with it.”
Attack was John Abraham’s most recent film. Despite a below-average theatrical run, the film gained more viewers after its digital release on ZEE5.
John is currently preparing for his next film, Ek Villain Returns, in which he will co-star with Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. It is a sequel to the 2014 film Ek Villain, directed by Mohit Suri.
Mohit, who also directed the first film, previously stated, “Ek Villain was my passion project and a labour of love.” The amount of love I still receive for Ek Villain astounds me. I am confident that with Ek Villain Returns, the love will only grow stronger. And, while I can’t say much about the film, I can promise it will be a thrilling roller coaster ride.”
The director stated in an interview with a reporter. “The girls also play villains in this film.” Ekta and I are attempting to create a whole cast of villains and characters who are all interconnected.”
