Paresh Rawal apologises for “hurting sentiments” and clarifies his remark that “cook fish for Bengalis.”

On Friday, actor Paresh Rawal apologised for saying “cook fish for the Bengalis.” A Twitter user reposted the actor’s comment-making video. “This is not expected of you @SirPareshRawal, you must clarify and apologise for hurting your fans in Bengal,” read a portion of their tweet. The other tweet from the person said, “The subject shouldn’t have been fish. He must make it clear.”

Paresh responded to the individual on Twitter and stated, “Of course, since Gujaratis prepare and consume fish, the fish itself is not the problem. But let me be clear: I meant illegal Bangladeshi N Rohingya when I said “Bengali.” However, if I have offended your sensibilities or feelings, I do apologise (hands folded emoji).”

Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday will also appear in Dream Girl 2 with Paresh. The movie, which was directed by Raaj Shaandilya, was created by Ektaa and Shobha Kapoor under the auspices of Balaji Telefilms Limited. The movie will debut on July 7 of the following year.

Dream Girl 2 also stars Annu Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, and Rajpal Yadav in addition to Ayushmann. Recently, Paresh was spotted in Goa, India, at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
