Priyanka Chopra shared a behind-the-scenes video from a magazine shoot on Instagram. On Thursday, she shared a cute video with her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. It was her first Vogue cover shoot with the child. The mother and daughter wore matching red outfits. Malti can be seen in the video being restless as her mother tries to snuggle her.
Priyanka wore a red dress and a necklace in the video. Her hair was left untied. Malti, her daughter, was dressed in a red gown. Priyanka sat in a reclined position, and her daughter sat next to her. Malti sat in front of her mother, her face hidden. She is seen playing with a toy. Priyanka took the object from her and held it down while trying to snuggle her daughter.
Priyanka broke her silence during an interview with Vogue about being accused of ‘outsourcing’ her pregnancy because she had Malti through surrogacy. “I’ve developed a tough hide when people talk about me,” she told British Vogue.
“But it’s excruciating when they bring up my daughter. ‘Keep her out of it,’ I say. I remember how it felt to hold her little hands while they were trying to find her veins. So, no, she will not be gossip. I’ve been extremely guarded about this chapter of my life with my daughter. Because it isn’t just about my life. It’s also hers.”
In 2018, Priyanka and Nick Jonas married. After two months of dating, they got engaged. The couple announced the birth of their first child in January 2022 in a joint statement on their social media handles. Malti, the couple’s daughter, was born through surrogacy. Malti Marie is named after the couple’s mothers’ middle names.
Priyanka Chopra will now appear in Hollywood films such as Love Again and Ending Things. Citadel, a Prime Video web series, will also mark her OTT debut. The sci-fi drama series, directed by Patrick Morgan and starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, is produced by Russo Brothers. Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa is also on Priyanka’s list. Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif will star. Farhan’s directorial debut in Bollywood will be with this film.
