NEW DELHI: To promote the forthcoming film ‘Virata Parvam,’ the ‘Virata Parvam’ company hosted a ‘Aathmeeya Vedika’ in Warangal on June 17. Rana Daggubati, the film’s lead actor, was questioned why he opted to perform in a film with a minor role.
“Many people have asked me why I’m doing this film instead of another action film,” Rana said during the event.
“Heroes, in general, create films for the entertainment of their followers and claps. However, if you want an honest movie line between claps, this is the film for you “, remarked the ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ actor.
During the ‘Virata Parvam’ event, Rana stated that the film is entirely Sai Pallavi’s creation.
“Sai Pallavi is a fantastic entertainer.”
“It’s feasible that another actor might portray my character in the film,” Rana said, “but no one else could have done what Sai Pallavi did in the film.”
Rana said, “Virata Parvam has a lyrical touch.” Rana revealed why the film is only being released in Telugu and not in other languages, arguing that the story is unique and appeals exclusively to the Telugu audience’s sensitivities.
“We shall meet again in the same spot for a successful meet,” he said.
