Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, rumoured couple, were last seen working together in Dear Comrade. Rashmika stated in a new interview that she hopes to work with him again ‘this year or next’.
Rashmika Mandanna, who is preparing to release her upcoming Tamil film Varisu, has addressed rumours that she will reunite with Vijay Deverakonda for the third time after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. In an interview, she stated that she hopes to work with Vijay again because their fans and well-wishers have been wishing for it. Also see: Kiccha. Rashmika responded to rumours of another project with Vijay Deverakonda in an interview. He hoped to work with Vijay ‘this year or next,’ she said. Rashmika and Vijay were last seen collaborating on Dear Comrade. She portrayed a cricketer who becomes a victim of harassment in the film. Fans are convinced that Vijay and Rashmika are dating after seeing’similar’ recent holiday photos of the two; however, neither has confirmed or denied their relationship.
Rashmika told Gulte that she would not be working with Vijay again for the time being. But I’m hoping it will happen this year or next. I’ve gotten a lot of messages from fans who think it’s been a while since we’ve appeared on screen. We want to do it justice and are waiting for a script that will justify both of our personalities.” Rashmika also stated that she ‘absolutely loved working with him. “I feel I’ve improved so much from Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, I really want to see how much better I can be. I want him to see me perform, and I’m looking forward to hearing his reaction. “I’m hoping it happens in the next year or so,” she said.
Rashmika was recently chastised for not watching Kannada film Kantara for an extended period of time. She even responded to those who mocked her for not seeing the movie despite being a Kannadiga. She had stated that she would be unable to watch the film as soon as it was released due to work obligations. She stated that she eventually watched the film and expressed her wishes to the crew.
On the professional front, she will soon begin work on the second instalment of the Pushpa franchise. In the film, she will reunite with Allu Arjun. The film will be released next year. Pushpa: The Rule was officially launched last August with a pooja ceremony. Sukumar will also return to direct the sequel. Rashmika will be joining the sets later this month.
