Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have finally announced that they have become parents to a baby girl, much to the delight of their fans and well-wishers. The latter took to Instagram to post a message alongside a photo of a male and female lion and their cub. “And in the best news of our lives, Our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is,” she wrote. We are officially overjoyed- blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! “I adore Alia and Ranbir.”
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir’s sister and Bhatt’s sister-in-law, tells HT exclusively, “Thank you so much for your wishes! I’m currently in France, but I can’t wait to see the baby! In the family, we are all very excited. My mom will FaceTime me as soon as she sees her, and I am overjoyed!”
The couple was seen rushing to a Mumbai hospital in the early hours of Sunday, fueling speculation that Bhatt would give birth today. Soni Razdan, Alia’s mother, also shared Alia’s Instagram story from her account, writing, “Our hearts are overwhelming and overwhelmed… thank you life.”
