A threat letter was sent to Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan, who is a film producer and screenwriter. It came a few days after the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was killed. An FIR has been filed against someone who is unknown, and the case is being looked into. The case is still being looked into. A tweet from news agency ANI says, “Today, a threat letter was sent to actor Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan. Bandra police have filed a FIR against a person they don’t know, and Mumbai police are looking into it further.” This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Before his 1998 blackbuck poaching court hearing, the actor got a death threat on social media.
The official said that early Sunday morning, Salim Khan was sitting on a bench at the Bandra Bandstand after his morning walk when an unknown person gave him a letter that said Salim and Salman were going to be killed. Later, Salim Khan called the police with the help of his security staff. At the Bandra police station, a FIR was filed under section 506-II (Criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Still, no one knows for sure if the threat came from the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. A few years later, he got a lot of attention when he said he would kill Salman Khan because he was thought to be involved in the famous black buck killing case. Bishnoi was moved to Tihar Jail in June 2021. Since then, he has been found running his gang from inside the jail more than once.
Now, in May 2022, 29-year-old Bishnoi was in the news again when his name came up in connection with the brutal killing of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, better known as Sidhu Moosewala. In the custody of the Delhi Police Special Cell, Bishnoi has even said that his gang killed Moosewala in a brutal way.
On May 29, unknown people shot and killed Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in Jawaharke village in Mansa district. The event happened a day after the Punjab police, along with 424 other people, took away his security. Fans are very saddened by the singer’s death.
