Salman Khan has stated that he would like to bring his ‘friends’ and fellow actors Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, and Katrina Kaif into the Bigg Boss house. ColorsTV shared a new promo clip on Instagram on Saturday featuring veteran actor Simi Garewal as a host interviewing Salman Khan. The set, however, was similar to the one where Simi hosted her show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal (2001).
Salman began the video by saying, “Bigg Boss has been running for 16 years. I began the journey as a host 13 years ago. So far, I’ve asked all of the questions. Today, however, someone else will question me.” Salman first appeared on Bigg Boss in October 2010.
Simi then called Salman ‘the best TV show host in the world’. “Thank you,” a shy Salman said, smiling. Simi went on to say, “I’ve seen every show in the world. But no one can do it as well as you, Salman.” He responded, “Thank you very much. Thank you very much, Shukriya.”
When Simi mentioned that there is a lot to be learned from Bigg Boss and asked what Salman had learned, the actor replied, “Main patience sikha hai (I’ve learned patience).” Salman then stated that he is confused in his life, which made Simi laugh.
“If I ask you if you can take three friends inside the Bigg Boss house, who will you choose?” Simi continued. “Sanju, Shah Rukh, and Katrina,” Salman replied. Simi exclaimed, “Oh wow,” when she heard Shah Rukh Khan’s name. Simi exclaimed when she heard Katrina Kaif’s name: “Katrina? I was wondering what her name was.” Salman affectionately refers to Sanjay Dutt as Sanju.
When asked about his life, Salman stated, “My life has revolved around shooting (on sets) and returning home. For the past 25-26 years, this has been my life. From home to shooting location and back.” When Simi asked if Salman was happy and liked it this way, he replied, “I am overjoyed. It’s fantastic.”
Simi and Salman hugged at the end of the video. “Simi Garewal ke saath ki Salman ne kuch guftagoo” (Salman shared some conversations with Simi Garewal) was the caption for the video.
Salman will appear in Farhad Samji’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh Daggubati also play lead roles in the film. The film also stars Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vijender Singh. The film is set to be released in theatres on Eid 2023.
He also recently announced the new release date for Tiger 3, his next action thriller. The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif, will be released on Diwali 2023.
