Shah Rukh Khan responds to a Twitter user attempting to troll him with an old photo: 'I am aware that I am attractive, but...'

Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film, will be released in just one day. It’s his first appearance on the big screen in four years. Before the film’s release, the actor used Twitter to interact with his fans and hosted a ‘Ask Me Anything’ session.

“A big hug to all for making #Pathaan so loved,” Shah Rukh tweeted. Those who danced, set up cutouts, purchased halls, formed fan clubs, made t-shirts, prayed, assisted in resolving issues, and made it a festival. It’s nice to be in theatres; it feels like home. A quick #AskSRK for entertainment.” While many fans rushed to ask the actor questions, one user attempted to troll him by commenting on his female avatar from an award show.

The troll wrote to Shah Rukh, “Femme fatale,” with laughing emojis alongside a photo of the actor dressed as a woman in response to a post shared by Yash Raj Films on the micro-blogging site. “Arre no no this is me dressed as a lady,” Shah Rukh responded to the user. I know I’m attractive in all avatars, but you’ll have to find a better muse for yourself, my friend!! Please accept my apologies for misinforming you.”

Meanwhile, the original post from YRF, which is supporting Pathaan, stated, “She is a total femme fatale in #Pathaan as she transforms into a spy with a licence to kill!” Watch as @deepikapadukone opens up about her role, what makes her and @iamsrk one of the biggest all-time blockbuster jodis in Indian cinema, and much more.” It shared a clip from Deepika’s interview in which she discussed the film and her work experience.

Shah Rukh has been actively engaging with fans ahead of the release of Pathaan. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham star in the film, which is directed by Siddharth Anand. So far, advance booking for Pathaan has clearly indicated a blockbuster opening ahead of Wednesday’s Republic Day. With over a million tickets already sold on the movie booking website BookMyShow, INOX Cinemas has confirmed a sale of 2.75 lakh tickets by Monday. The film is also expected to reopen approximately 25 closed single-screen theatres across India.
