Shehnaaz Gill was seen supporting Sajid Khan when he was introduced as a contestant on national television on Bigg Boss 16, as it was also dubbed by netizens.

During the #MeToo movement in 2018, seven women accused Sajid of sexual misconduct.

Furthermore, she questioned Farhan Akhtar and Javed Akhtar for remaining silent despite knowing the truth about Sajid, who is now a contestant on a reality show.

Farhan’s cousin is Sajid. Honey Irani, Farhan’s mother, and Menaka, Sajid Khan’s mother, are sisters.
She continued, addressing Farhan’s father, lyricist-poet Javed Akhtar: @Javedakhtarjadu, I know you to be a veteran, feminist, and thought leader in the Indian film industry? It hurts and breaks my heart that you have chosen to remain silent all these years about these men you know so well. “Charity starts at home.”
Urfi Javed also expressed her concern and chastised Shehnaaz Gill and Kashmera Shah for their support.
“If women like Shehnaaz Gill and Kashmera Shah are free to support a sexual predator, then I’m free to criticise him and both of them!!” she wrote.
