Sonam Kapoor has revealed when she will post photos of her son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, on social media. In a new interview, Sonam also said that she wants to get back to movies after a “nice break”. Sonam stated that she is ‘dying to get back on set’ because she has spent’most of my adult life’ doing so.

Sonam and businessman Anand Ahuja married in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony on May 8, 2018. The couple announced in March 2022 that they are expecting their first child together. On August 20, last year, they welcomed their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja into the world in Mumbai.

Sonam stated in an interview with the news agency PTI, “To be honest, it’s been a welcome break. I’ve been doing this since I was a child, but I’d like to return and get back into things. I completed a film shortly before becoming pregnant, and it is now available for viewing. I can’t wait to get back on set because that’s what I’ve done for the majority of my adult life. My film will be released soon. The creative producer is Sujoy (Sujoy Ghosh). It’s a thriller, and I’m looking forward to seeing it.”

Sonam said of posting Vayu’s photos on social media platforms, “I don’t think until he’s grown up” (on sharing pictures). In fact, (it will be) when he decides.”

Sonam hasn’t revealed Vayu’s face yet, but she has shown fans glimpses of her baby. Last year, the couple announced the birth of Vayu on Instagram, writing, “We welcomed our beautiful baby boy on August 20, 2022, with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way, including doctors, nurses, friends, and family. It’s only the beginning, but we already know our lives have been forever altered.”

Sonam was most recently seen in the 2019 film The Zoya Factor. She also appeared in Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s AK vs AK, which premiered on Netflix in 2021.

Sonam will next be seen in Shome Makhija’s upcoming film Blind. Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey play pivotal roles in the film. The film’s official release date is still unknown.

The action-thriller revolves around a blind police officer on the hunt for a serial killer. It is the official Hindi remake of Ahn Sang-2011 hoon’s Korean crime thriller of the same name.
