Kapil Sharma gave Sumona Chakravarti a rare compliment on the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. Sumona made fun of Kapil’s expression when he told everyone that this was the first time she had improvised her lines on the show in a new promo shared by Sony Entertainment Television.
The Shehzada cast was in attendance this time, including lead actors Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan, as well as Ronit Roy and Rajpal Yadav. Sumona enters the stage as her character Bindu and inquires of Kapil why he had placed locks on food jars. “Because I can’t put locks on your family’s mouths,” he explains. She becomes enraged and cracks a joke about his appearance. Kapil can be seen sitting in his chair, wearing a great-looking black sweater and black sunglasses.
“Suno, haath mein ek katora lelo, perfect match lagega,” she says, as the audience and guests laugh. “Aaj pehli baar 10 saal mein tumne improvise kiya hai (You have improvised for the first time in ten years),” Kapil says as he applauds her.
Sumona has been a regular on the show for a long time. She was also with Kapil on Comedy Nights With Kapil. She addressed rumours about her departure from the show last year. “Let me state unequivocally that I have not left The Kapil Sharma Show and do not intend to do so,” she told India.com.
Kiku Sharda also appears on The Kapil Sharma Show. It is now in its fourth season. Kapil will soon be seen in Nandita Das’ Zwigato, which premiered earlier this year at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Busan International Film Festival.
The film, presented by Applause Entertainment, is about an ex-factory floor manager (Kapil) who loses his job during the pandemic. He then gets a job as a food delivery rider, where he has to deal with the world of ratings and incentives. To supplement his income, his homemaker wife begins to look into different job opportunities, both fearfully and excitedly. The film is about the relentlessness of life, but it is not without its joyous moments. It depicts the lives of ‘ordinary’ people who are invisible and hidden in plain sight.
