The Kapil Sharma Show: Sidharth Sagar denies leaving the show, saying 'aisa kuch nahi hai'

Sidharth Sagar, a comedian, recently denied reports that he was leaving The Kapil Sharma Show. Krushna Abhishek had previously left Kapil Sharma’s show. According to recent reports, Sidharth and the producers parted ways due to financial differences. However, he called any such claims ‘fake news’ in a new interaction.

Last September 10, The Kapil Sharma Show returned to Sony TV. It stars regulars like Kapil Sharma as Kappu Sharma and Sumona Chakravarty as his wife Bindu. The third season also features Chandan Prabhakar as Kappu’s friend Chandan and Kiku Sharda. Krushna, on the other hand, did not return to reprise his role this time.

In response to reports that he was leaving the show, Sidharth told Indian Express, “Aisa kuch nahi hai (There is nothing like this). It’s all made up.” When asked if he is filming for the show’s upcoming episodes, he replied, “I did not film the last few episodes. However, team se abhi baat huyi hai meri (I just spoke with the team).”

Previously, an ETimes report claimed that Sidharth quit due to a financial disagreement with the show’s producers. He allegedly requested a raise, which was denied. Responding to these claims, Sidharth also said, “I have no reaction since I don’t even know what has been out in the media. “Mujhe nahi pata kya reports aayi hai, maine nahi dekha” (I’m not sure what the reports are claiming because I haven’t seen them).

Krushna revealed last month that he will be working with Kapil soon. During an interview he praised Kapil’s show and also said that people asked him not to join it claiming that Kapil had a ‘attitude’. The Bol Bachchan actor stated that he works for money and desires a large amount of it.

He told Indian Express, “I love Kapil, I love the show. He is such a great talent, he is like a friend and brother, who has taken such good care of me over the years. There were people who would tell me he has changed, attitude aagaya hai (he has an attitude), don’t join his show. But let me tell you, the man is such a hard-working artist. The way he creates comedy does stand up, and takes the team along, it’s not an easy job. For us, after doing this for years, it really becomes difficult to create new content. You tend to ask yourself ‘ab naya kya (what can be new)?’ However, that man, and that show is doing something different each time and making people laugh. It’s a great show.”
