Twinkle Khanna shared a photo of her’mole’ on Instagram Reels on Wednesday. In the photo she posted with a funny caption, the actor-turned-author flaunted an oversized’mole’ above her lip on the left. Twinkle was wearing no makeup and raised her face as she looked intently away from the camera. The text on her picture said, “Should fake moles become the new Berkins (Hermes’ luxury handbag)? And, just like in the movies, will you recognise me only after I peel this mole off? Yes/ no?”
Twinkle also wrote in her caption that as a child, she enjoyed watching movies in which the ‘heroes’ wore fake moles and looked unrecognisable after they removed them. She also requested that her Instagram followers share more’strange moments or cliches’ from old Hindi films. In her caption, Twinkle wrote, “Constructing a mountain out of a molehill. As a child, I used to enjoy movies in which the hero removes his mole and you are supposed to recognise him! What odd moments or cliches do you recall from old Hindi films?”

Her post drew equally amusing responses from Instagram users. “In this case – mole looks bigger than two your nostrils combined,” one joked about her photo. “It’s not looking good on your face,” another said of Twinkle’s fake mole. Someone responded to her caption by writing, “I recall the moustache being used in the same context. Especially when distinguishing between twins.” “I’m not sure about old movies… but Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was an epic example of how chashma (a pair of spectacles) and a change of clothes can make someone unrecognisable,” wrote another.
Twinkle Khanna had recently reacted to Prince Harry and Prince William’s feud in her own hilarious way, involving sister Rinke Khanna as she joked about herself being the ‘heir’. Twinkle had compared her sister to Prince Harry and referred to her as the’spare’.
Twinkle, who is married to actor Akshay Kumar and has two children with him, Aarav and Nitara, made her acting debut in 1995 with the film Barsaat. She left acting after her 2001 film Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Twinkle made her debut as an author in 2015 with Mrs Funnybones.
